Seventh Annual Dimensions of Political Ecology Conference

February 23-25, 2017

DOPE 2017 hosted over 300 scholars, environmental professionals, and activists from around the world, and included over 200 paper presentations. The conference featured a keynote address by Dr. Sandra Harding (UCLA), a welcome address by Dr. Paul Robbins (UW-Madison), and a plenary panel with discussion from Drs. Juanita Sundberg (UBC), Nancy Peluso (UC Berkeley), and Peter Brosius (UGA). Field trips explored regional forestry on reclaimed land, a quintessential Horse Farm, the Kentucky bourbon industry, and Mammoth Cave!
