POSTER SESSION: teaching and learning in political ecology: a look at pedagogy and practice in class

This poster session will explore how political ecologists do the work they do in classrooms of all shapes and sizes, both near and far. Whether teaching political ecology formally or “simply” wrestling with how to incorporate core issues related to environment, economy, and equity or power, politics, and development into the classroom, participants are invited to share their successes and challenges related to pedagogy in a variety of courses and teaching/learning formats (e.g., campus-based courses, short courses, field courses, e-courses, course modules, etc.). Presenters will prepare a 4 x 6 foot (maximum) poster and should be prepared to give a 3-5 minute summary of their poster to curious onlookers.

To participate, please submit your name(s), institutional affiliation(s), poster title/keywords, and abstract (300-word limit) by 17 Nov 2017.
