Ninth Annual Dimensions of Political Ecology Conference
February 21 - 23, 2019
The DOPE 2019 Conference featured a welcome address by Dr. Priscilla McCutcheon (University of Kentucky), a plenary panel with panelists Dr. LaToya Eaves (Middle Tennesee State University), Dr. Hanna Garth (UC San Diego), and Dr. Rachel Watkins (American University), and moderator Dr. Rosalind Harris (University of Kentucky). Planned field trips included the Landscapes of Eastern Kentucky Tour @ Little Elk Mine & Robertson Forest (canceled due to flooding from heavy rain), the Spirit of Kentucky Bourbon Tour @ Buffalo Trace Distillery, and the Fish & Greens Aquaponics Tour @ West Sixth FoodChain. We'd like to thank Bear & The Butcher, where we held an informal welcome event, and Al's Bar & Beer Garden, where the DOPE 2019 after party was held.
